Front-end Software Engineer (Eindhoven, NL)

In order to deliver new functionalities to our customers in Europe and North America even faster, we are looking for an enthusiastic Frond-end Software Engineer with a great sense of responsibility.

Content of the function

As a Software Engineer you play a crucial role in the success of our technological initiatives and contribute to our growth and innovation as software becomes increasingly important within WPS. In the coming years, software will become the core of our organization. To prepare for this, we are expanding the development team with an experienced Front-End Software Engineer. You will work in a multidisciplinary team that creates and maintains all components of our software and hardware. We tackle Back-end, Dev-ops, Front-end and testing together, although each team member also has his/her own specialization. Our back-end consists mainly of Java and our front-end is based on Angular. Our software runs both locally at customers' locations and completely in the cloud.

Your qualities

You...

you have an HBO or University diploma, preferably in Computer Science or a technical field;
have at least 3 years of experience as a front and developer with the required techniques;
has knowledge of Angular, Node.js and RESTful APIs (required);
also knows something about Java and Docker / kubernetes (advantage).

In terms of personal qualities, we are looking for someone who is analytical, results-oriented and proactive. You have an innovative way of thinking and because you have frequent contact with our colleagues abroad, you are fluent in spoken and written English, in addition to Dutch.
